# Fablum

> Fablum is an ebook reader and audiobook player for iPhone, iPad and Android. It opens EPUB and PDF files and packaged audiobooks, reads EPUB books aloud with the voices on the device, and works without an account.

- No sign-up. Books stay on the device and open offline. Streaming an audiobook from the catalog needs a connection.
- Formats: EPUB, PDF and packaged audiobooks (.audiobook, .lcpa). Loose MP3 or M4B files are not imported.
- The built-in public catalog holds tens of thousands of titles that are in the public domain in the USA. Filter it by language and type, then stream or download.
- Text-to-speech uses the voices installed on the device and works for EPUB only.
- Free for 5 books at a time. Deleting a book frees a slot, and reading and listening are never locked. A one-time purchase removes the limit. No subscription, no ads. The store shows the price in local currency.
- A purchase restores on any device signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account. The two stores do not share purchases: buying on one does not unlock the other.
- The app is available in 51 languages.
- Fablum uses Google Firebase (Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring) to fix crashes and find performance problems. The data is not sold and not used for ads.
